Outside Membrane Wraps Warranty

TCS warrants all outside membrane installed by us on your foundation from the date of install for a total of twenty (20) years against any permeation of water through the area of install. This warranty is void in cases where the installed membrane has been damaged or compromised, intentionally or otherwise, by you or other causes.

Scope

TCS warrants all the above services according to the scope set in reaction to symptoms that have been provided by you throughout our points of contact and validated by our estimator(s). It is our job to gauge the threat of permeation and appropriately set this scope in response to provide you the most effective and cost-efficient solution to address your individual situation. Due to the migratory nature of draining water, there remains a chance that a new point of permeation may appear. If your basement’s perimeter in its entirety has not been treated, we cannot guarantee that future work at additional cost may be necessary to extend the scope of your home’s protection.

Potential Moisture Damage

This warranty does not imply indemnity for any tangible or intangible damage caused by leaking water itself (i.e.: Mould); we do not provide compensation for any damages to person, property, or otherwise in relation to or caused by flooding, regardless of the water’s source of permeation, treated by us or otherwise.

Cosmetics

We are not to be held responsible for incidental damage related to our technicians’ work within our quoted work area, such as peeled paint or settled dust created from work performed. Additional ensuing cosmetic damage to concrete such as discolouration or efflorescence because of future leakage is also outside of our coverage scope. Best efforts will be taken by TCS to tamp and regrade area. TCS cannot be held responsible for any earth settling at repair site. Customer is responsible for finishing landscaping.

The Legalese

The foregoing warranties are the only warranties provided by the Crack Specialists Limited and there are no other warranties, express or implied, with respect to any work, services, or products supplied by The Crack Specialists Limited. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties provided for in any statute or legislation are specifically excluded. The liability of the Crack Specialists Limited for any breach of warranty or for any damages of any kind relating to any work, services or materials supplied by The Crack Specialists Limited shall be limited to a refund of any money paid by the client to the Crack Specialists Limited and The Crack Specialists Limited shall not be responsible for, or liable for, any other losses, damages or claims of every nature and kind whether some are foreseeable or otherwise.

2. Ideally we prefer if you have the original paperwork, but don’t worry, if it is lost we will still take care of you.

3. Share the registered homeowner’s name and address, we will take it from there.

4. Once confirmed, one of our technicians will come to your home and conduct a no-charge inspection to verify it is indeed the originally repaired crack.

5. Once verified, The Crack Specialists technician will complete the repairs as described in the appropriate warranty.
