Sump Pit/Pump Install Services

A sump pump is installed in a basement to prevent water build up by pumping water out of a sump pit, a basin dug into the floor. The sump pump is then connected to a discharge pipe that carries the water away from the foundation. Installation typically involves digging a pit, placing a liner, installing the pump, and connecting the discharge pipe.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of The Crack Specialists process:

  • Break out an area 2’x2’
  • Dig out area
  • Install poly pit
  • Perforate the sump pit basin
  • Backfill with gravel
  • Plumb 1/3 hp commercial grade submersible sump to exterior of home, ensuring that it is draining away from the home
  • Refinish concrete floor around the new sump liner
  • Test pump and plumbing to ensure there are no leaks
  • Place lid on the newly installed pit.
