Overtime window wells either need to be replaced or serviced to ensure that they are functioning correctly. Our estimators will evaluate the best solution to your water infiltration.
The first step is to ensure that all locates for utilities have been completed. The technicians will remove the damaged/old window well. They will dig out around the old well and ensure that there is sufficient space to install the new well. Tarps are used to keep all the removed materials contained and your yard looking good as new when the repair is completed. The technicians make sure that it fits perfectly. They will secure the window well to the foundation. The next step is to make sure that the edge is sealed to prevent water from entering the well. They will install filter cloth and fill the window well with clear stone for drainage. The stone will be below the sill of the window. They will backfill with native soil, then compact the soil around the window well. The technicians will also do some minor regrading around the new well if required.
This service uses your existing window well. We provide all the same scope of work except for a new window well is not provided. Either your window well has pulled away from your foundation or it has been filled with soil and is not draining correctly. Our technicians will repair your existing well to ensure that the water stays out of your home.
